Ecosystem Restoration Division

Mission

Picture of a beach To balance society and nature through sound science and environmental stewardship.

Goals

To maintain, restore, and enhance native ecosystem services through interdisciplinary design and application.

Vision

We envision a comprehensive design approach to ecological management, planning, restoration, and regeneration of native and urban landscapes.

Our interdisciplinary design team of natural resource managers will incorporate natural ecosystems services through scientific methods and community-based inputs in our projects. Our company is committed to ensuring that the North Coast will maintain, enhance, and regenerate resilient ecosystem communities in which we work, live, and play. By adhering to ecological principles, we will mimic natural functions to achieve sustainable environmental design and community planning that focuses on increased biodiversity and public access.

This program will add three new core services to Streamline Planning Consultants; Applied Ecological Restoration, Urban Regeneration, and Environmental Stewardship.

Why Expand Our Core Services?

Picture of redwoods Ecological restoration has become a pertinent cultural remedy to combat the intense pressure and scale of human activities. It is our objective to foster the long-term stability of Earth's natural resources to meet the needs of our native flora and fauna as well as our community residents. We want to minimize human impacts of today and tomorrow, and reverse prior degradation of ecosystems into a naturally regenerating, healthy environment.

In order to maintain, preserve, and enhance Northern California's environment, we have expanded our core planning services to include an ecosystem restoration division, to better meet the needs of current and future clients. This ecosystem restoration division will focus on multi-functional projects that will capitalize on innovative design solutions and natural processes to assist in the regeneration of ecological services.
