CLIMATE AND ENERGY PLANNING
As energy and resource management policy advances at all levels of government, Streamline is offering a variety of services to assist public and private clients in meeting climate change and sustainability obligations, utilizing knowledge and experience to develop solutions for curbing energy, emissions, and resource consumption.
ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION
Our program brings together scientists, designers, planners and permit specialists to integrate ecosystem processes from project conception to implementation and monitoring. This program will add three new core services to Streamline: Ecological Restoration, Urban Regeneration and Environmental Stewardship.
AERIAL PHOTOS
If you have aerial photography needs please contact us. We can help you define your project needs and provide economically-priced digital files covering your area. We annually have 68 miles of streams, as well as municipal and resource land locations flown. For less than $500 we may be able to provide you with scaled base mapping in a useable format for your project.
CALIFORNIA STRATEGIC COUNCIL GRANT
The City of Blue Lake was awarded a $134,385 grant from the California Strategic Growth Council to incorporate climate action plan policies as part of their general plan update. Streamline Planning Consultants, the City Planner for the City of Blue Lake, submitted the grant application on behalf of the City.
CLEAN BEACHES GRANT
Trinidad Town Planner, Trever Parker, was instrumental in securing nearly $500,000 for the City of Trinidad's bacterial water quality program. The program also benefits the community of Westhaven, providing money for water quality studies and septic system improvements.
Looking at the volume of intentional environmental degradation, as well as that done in ignorance, it is clear that children are the hope for our future. Educating the next generation about the value, beauty, and function of our environment will create a generation that genuinely cares about the environment.
